Get Free along with activists from 50501 and No Kings have announced the next big thing after May Day - a national day of action on June 27th called All of U.S. 250.
Before the 250th Anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence and days after expected Supreme Court rulings on birthright citizenship and the Voting Rights Act, Americans across the country will march and rally to repair our full history rather than erase it, celebrate the progress we have made through struggle, and commit to the work to ensure liberty and equality for All of U.S.
Unfortunately, Freedom Fest will be held on the same day in Greenwood. Due to this, we will be supporting a different location and assisting another group for this one.
As soon as we have details finalized we will get them out to you. It was announced on Instagram but the website does not yet reflect the release date or any information.
We look forward to being counted in this amazing movement. We will also be having a team meeting the next day, so it's a great time to plug in!
